We are proud to co-host the Innovation Lounge with the German American Business Council, the entrepreneurial network in New England to connect to business.
At the Conference I wish to give a face to the GABC being the network for German and American entrepreneurs and enterprises with business interest on the respectively other side. I am looking forward to connect guests at the Innovation Lounge to optimize the outcome of their time spent on the Harvard campus.
For 6 years, I have been involved in helping German entrepreneurs to build bridges to capital and markets in the US. I have worked with investors, entrepreneurs, service providers, governmental officials and others to support development of innovation centers in Germany. As part of those efforts I have developed a high-impact network to help achieve these goals
At General Catalyst, my focus is on early stage investments and supporting exceptional entrepreneurs who are building innovative technology companies that transform industries. Some areas of interest include SaaS, SMBs, marketplaces, commerce, mobile and education. Feel free to get in touch if you have a tech startup or have questions about startups.
We connect our members through meetings, events, and virtual introductions, so that the connections may flourish to produce working relationships, partnering opportunities, and social friendships. Our members represent all facets of the international business community including innovators, retailers, financiers, government officials, scientists, researchers, attorneys, educators, entrepreneurs and more. I look forward to talking with visitors of the conference about whether joining GABC is a good fit for them and their business.
Companies can be innovative in many ways, most include enhancing their core business by doing things faster, better, and/or cheaper. Some focus on providing better value while others focus on new business either adjacent to their own or by betting on the new. To me, the most interesting thing about innovation is that in some cases it can be the simplest change, and in others it can be so very complex. I look forward to talking to business leaders and learning how innovation helped them to be more successful.
